2019 Suffolk County EMT Credentialing Course
- *** Please do not use Internet Explorer to complete this course***
- You may complete this course if you are an EMT-B member or employee of an agency providing 911 emergency response in the Suffolk County Region.
- EMT-CC or paramedic providers that are credentialed as ALS Providers in the Suffolk County EMS system are NOT required to take this BLS Credentialing Course
- EMT-B providers will only receive non-core credit for the EMT-B course. They should not be taking the CFR level course.
- You will be required to complete all three modules listed below including: taking the quizzes, reviewing and understanding the resource material, and completing the final quiz.
- Upon completion of the final quiz you will be able to print your certificate of completion. Please retain this certificate in your personal records and give a copy to each agency you volunteer and/or are employed at.
- You will only receive credit for completion of the course for the level at which you are currently certified.

2016/2017 ALS Protocol Update for Paramedics in the Suffolk County ALS System.
This course covers all administrative policy changes and medical protocols infused into the system throughout calendar years 2016 and 2017.
The provider must first register, then watch the video and pass the post-test with a minimum score of 80% in order for credential update information to be forwarded to the SCEMS office. Then:
- Check the Suffolk REMSCO Website “SC Credentials” sidebar menu option
- Once you find your name on the UPDATED 2018 credentialed provider list, it means that SCEMS has record of your successful completion of the update.

This does NOT grant you the ability to perform ALS under the new changes.
- A system-wide announcement will be broadcast to notify providers of the date when the changes will go into effect.

2016/2017 ALS Protocol Update for Critical Care Technicians in the Suffolk County ALS System.
